Pat founded the Divoky School of Riding in 1999 based on the principles of natural horsemanship and classical dressage techniques. Working in harmony with the horse and helping riders come to an understanding of the way the horses body moves and interacts with the rider to promote harmony and communication. Pats career in the equestrian world started as a teenager with Welsh Pony Treks moving on to one of the most famous high goal polo yards in the country where she learnt her craft as a groom. Not being a horse owner she took every ride she was offered and competed in show jumping, dressage, eventing, hunting and pony racing, until gaining her own yard in the late 90’s. Having rehabilitated a number of difficult horses she developed her own unique style of coaching and after taking further qualifications in 2005 began training students for professional qualifications in both horse care and riding. Pat is continuing her own training in Portugal and Spain with classical instructors on Iberian horses and is also studying applied anatomy and biomechanics to bring new aspect to her coaching
